Leaves ‘Doctors’
After half a season on The Doctors, Michaels will no longer be a co-host but may still appear from time to time as a guest. The addition of the trainer to the show’s lineup was considered not to be a good fit since she is the only non-physician among the co-hosts:
Jillian has contributed greatly to our show this season, and we value her talent and insight as she has inspired countless people to improve their lives. Although it wasn’t the fit we both hoped for . . . Jillian will always be a part of ‘The Doctors’ family.
Joins ‘The Doctors’
Michaels signs a multiyear contract to join The Doctors next season as a co-host. She will focus on wellness, prevention, and lifestyle dynamics in addition to other health related issues.
This is literally the most informative show in daytime, and it allows me to continue to educate people on how to make powerful health choices enabling them to take control of not only their physical well-being, but every facet of their lives. I have thoroughly enjoyed the time I have spent as a guest on the show and becoming a permanent member of the team makes today one of the best yet.
