First Tizen smartphone
Samsung announces the Samsung Z, the first smartphone to use the open-source operating system Tizen. The phone runs applications from the Tizen app store as well as Android applications using the OpenMobile app ecosystem. The phone has 2 gigbytes of RAM, a 16 gigabyte internal memory, and a 2.3 GHz quad-core processor:
