Ross takes to his blog to discuss WWE’s NXT Takeover event and the NXT roster.
Owens is a keeper and has a uniquely, physical style that I like. Finn Balor had as memorable an entrance as I can recall in years. Neville vs Zayn could well challenge any thing we see at TLC….I hope the main roster was watching. Competition is knocking on their door. Charlotte vs. Sasha was crisp and well executed. Charlotte is getting so good that it could be scary in time. Sasha has a natural ‘attitude’ which is marketable. Great stuff from start to finish of this show.
WWE releases a statement regarding Slater’s legal situation stemming from a warrant placed for his arrest. WWE claims they will take appropriate action when more information is presented to them. The statement reads:
WWE has been advised that a misdemeanor arrest warrant has been issued against Heath Miller (aka Heath Slater), but we have not seen a copy or been provided with the underlying charges. Once this information is received by WWE, we will take the appropriate action.
Ross updates the blog section of his site to discuss Tyson Kidd, Cesaro and Vince McMahon’s apology to CM Punk.
Was happy that VKM addressed the hot topic of the CM Punk matter and was surprised about the apology he made to Punk about getting his legal paperwork on Punk and AJ’s wedding day. Seems as if the door is open to resume talks some day if both parties are of that mindset. Punk’s overwhelming desire to close the show at a WrestleMania is admirable and if any one in the locker room doesn’t have that same goal every day of their professional life then they need to find another line of work.
Ross updates the blog section of his website to discuss Sting’s WWE debut.
Happy to see my old friend The Stinger debut at the Survivor Series Sunday night. Honestly, I wish I hadn’t read so much material notwithstanding writing about the rumor of his return to the ring Sunday night. I’d have liked it better if I had not allowed myself to be preconditioned about Sting’s arrival. I have no one but me to blame. Nonetheless it seemed like he got a good ovation from the St. Louis crowd.
Ross updates the blog section of his website to discuss mid-card champions and WWE’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.
I still think that creativity as it relates to stunts, etc for this Sunday’s HIAC will be challenging considering that there will be two Hell in a Cell matches on the show both in a PG world. Anxious to see how the creative minds come up with elements that will make the two main events special, different and perceived as ‘dangerous.’
Austin addresses rumors that he will be making a comeback to WWE in the near future on his podcast, The Steve Austin Show.
No, man, I’m not looking to make a return. I don’t see that I have time in my schedule or the desire to climb back in the ring to start taking bumps again.
Roberts takes to Instagram to release his first public statement since his release from WWE.
Announcing was my dream, until I realized the absolute best part was using my position to help others. It brought me so much joy to bring a smile to a fellow fan’s face.
Ross updates the blog on his website and discusses the WWE Network, celebrities on wrestling shows and WWE using older stars.
WWE would be wise to consider hiring a handful of seasoned veterans to work with their highly regarded younger talents if for nothing else a short term IE one year contract. Young talents cannot get better working with those who are not better than the rookies.
WWE responds to fan rumors of Lesnar suffering heart problems in his match with Cena at Night of Champions. The company denies the rumors in an email to The Washington Post.
There is no truth to the rumors about issues with Brock Lesnar’s health.
Bearer’s son (D.J.) comments on inducting his father into the WWE Hall of Fame and the process.
We were either in the hotel sleeping or we were at the arena or rehearsing or doing something. It was more walk-through than anything because with it being Wrestlemania 30, they want everything perfect so they’re going to go through it a million times and make sure everything’s right for tv. But what an emotional weekend….what an honor it was, what a weekend it was.
Tyler and Dylan comment on their respective WWE releases on Twitter. The men are two of the five performers released as part of WWE’s new financial plan.
I was probably the first guy to get fired while wearing a pink fanny pack in some time. I learned a lot and am thankful for the experience.

Warrior’s wife, Dana pens memorial for her late husband and a message to his fans. WWE publishes the piece on WWE.com
On Sunday night, I was told WWE would pay tribute to Warrior and so I set the DVR planning to watch it when we were ready. As the hour neared, I broke resolve and turned on every TV in the house to full blast and snuggled our daughters close to me on the couch, unsure what we would see. As the scene unfolded with that amazing roster of talent gathered donning Ultimate Warrior shirts and even his face paint, we cheered and sobbed simultaneously. To everyone who stood there, thank you. My girls will remember your bowed heads for the rest of their lives. You are not just Superstars; you are super people.
