Yogventures canceled

Winterkewl Games ends development of the Yogscast-themed game Yogventures, which is funded by a $570,000 Kickstarter project. People with pre-orders are compensated with a free copy of TUG, another indie game. The developers of TUG say they plan to create in-game rewards similar to the ones promised by the Yogventures Kickstarter campaign. The Yogscast issues a statement to Eurogamer:

The failure of Yogventures is a matter of deep regret for the Yogscast, we put a lot of faith in the developer Winterkewl, including allowing them to use our likenesses and brand. However the project was too vast in scope to be realised and despite a huge amount of hard work from Winterkewl they have had to abandon it.
