Nets over $28M from tourney

Because of the run that ACC teams are making in the NCAA Tournament, the ACC is set to make over $28 million over the next six years. The NCAA pays conferences for the performance of their teams in a tournament, and each game played in this year’s tournament is worth at least $1.56 million. The league’s teams are currently 11-1 in the tournament, with five teams in the Sweet 16. The only loss was by Virginia, who lost to Michigan State.

I just want to say, when you’re in a battle, your seniors gotta step up, all right?…See, you stepped up. And even when [Denzel] Valentine got in foul trouble, you didn’t waver. And even when they came back and made their run, you stuck to the game plan, you executed and you stuck together.
