Frankenstein

Cumberbatch stars alongside of Johnny Lee Miller in the Danny Boyle-directed Frankenstein at the National Theatre. Each night Cumberbatch and Miller trade parts – one taking on the role of the Creature while the other takes on the role of his creator, Frankenstein. The performance is recorded and given a special release in movie theatres so that audiences across the world can take part. Most theatres show one casting on one night – then the other version on the following.
