Emmy nomination

Paul is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards for portraying Jesse Pinkman on Breaking Bad.

This season there was a lot of character development, and it showed the softer side of Jesse. He’s an emotional kid trying to find his way, and people are pulling for him. In the first season, they weren’t sure what they’d do with Jesse, and the second season opened up to different things. He wasn’t from a battered home but just got mixed up in the wrong crowd. He thinks cooking is an art, and he’s proud of it. He’s doing something he’s good at.

Elle Magazine interviews Paul about dating as a teenager.

I was very driven in high school. I worked a bunch of odd jobs. I never partied. I never drank. I was just a theater geek who was obsessed with movies. My first girlfriend was a producer on a pilot I did. I was 19 years old. She was in her late twenties. We dated on and off for a very long time. I lost my virginity to her.
