Tisdale and Michalka appear on the cover of the October 2010 issue of Seventeen magazine. They talk about the way people use to dress and their show Hellcats. Michalka says:
When I think about old Hollywood and the glamour of those days, women like Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe, and Audrey Hepburn were not dressing the way some girls dress today. There was a certain mystery about them, and I feel like that’s gone in our industry. If I can be a small part of that, to be able to be classy and have an aura of mystery, then that’s amazing.

I’ve had my own company, Blondie Girl Productions for about 5 years. But this is our first show going on air, so it’s pretty exciting. “Miss Advised” is a dating advice show, but the experts giving the advice are all single, so what qualifies them to give advice? “One of them is a dating columnist, Julia Allison, one is a matchmaking maven, Amy Laurent, and the other one, Emily Morse is a radio host and sex expert. So they do all through different things. You start to see it unfold that they really aren’t taking their own advice. So, they’re dishing it out, but just not taking it. It’s a good time, it’s a fun show.

You know, I didn’t [think it’d happen that quickly]. I think I’ve obviously been in long relationships in the past, but I think because of knowing what I wanted, I wouldn’t have gone into a relationship, if it wasn’t what I wanted. And I think from the moment that him and I met, I just knew it. I was like. ‘Okay, this is the guy.’ And he knew the same thing. It was just this feeling that it doesn’t get any better. I can’t explain it!

It definitely was for two reasons. The 8th was our anniversary so I wanted to land on an 8th, and [thankfully] it landed on a Monday in September. Also, because I figured out like, ‘Oh, I don’t think anybody would figure this one out,’ and that was to protect the privacy of it.
