Journalists apologize
Journalists who have reported about Cosby over the past 40 year apologize for failing to follow up on sexual abuse allegations. Whitaker, his official biographer, responds to a New York Times column criticizing him and other journalists:
I was wrong to not deal with the sexual assault charges against Cosby and pursue them more aggressively.
A New York Post columnist, Richard Johnson, says the National Enquirer ran a story about Cosby’s daughter Erinn’s battles with drugs and alcohol, that Cosby himself gave to the paper in 1989 in exchange for killing a story about Cosby’s alleged infidelity with showgirls.
Apology
Lemon responds to criticism over his oral-sex questions to Tarshis.
As a victim myself I would never want to suggest that any victim could have prevented a rape. If my question struck anyone as insensitive, I’m sorry as that was not my intention.
