I never doubted that what I wanted to do was wrestle. I trained on the bad ankle for two months and just though it’d get better. Then I had to have surgery and get it grafted.

Masters speaks about being released by WWE:
I don’t mean to mention names but people like JTG and a hand full of other guys and you think, your going to keep this guy but your going to get rid of me, I don’t want to sound bitter, every situation is different. Like I said, I was under the impression this was going to be my year and I was really going to bounce back from all the trails and tribulations of the last four years and that’s why it came as such a surprise when I did get the phone call telling me I was no longer needed.
