Ochoa Felix is reported to take over the leadership of the Sinaloa Cartel’s Los Antrax hit squad after the arrest of her partner, El Chavo Felix. She is nicknamed The Empress of Antrax and uses social media to brag about her lifestyle, posing in skintight outfits and swimsuits, holding a pink AK47 and other weapons, and walking a leopard. She also posts pictures of her children lying covered in banknotes.
Yuriana Castillo Torres is abducted in front of several witnesses on May 6 as she leaves a gym on Rotarismo Avenue in Sinaloa, and taken away in a Grand Cherokee with the plate number VMY5766. Her body is thrown from a truck on Boulevard Paseo de los Palmas less than 24 hours later. She is reported to have been shot in a case of mistaken identity, as she was a lookalike for Ochoa Felix and was from the same area.
Ochoa Felix’s boyfriend José Rodrigo Aréchiga Gamboa, also known as El China Antrax, is arrested at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport on drug trafficking-related charges by Interpol, at the request of U.S. authorities. He is alleged to be a top leader of the Sinaloa Cartel, and founded and led its Los Antrax assassination squad.
