Dan Stephens

In this drama directed by Adam Wingard, Stephens plays Collins, a soldier who introduces himself to the Peterson family and claims to be a friend of their son who died in action. After they let him into their home a series of accidental deaths surround his precense. Co-starring Maika Monroe, Brendan Meyer, Lance Reddick and Leland Orser. About character inspiration:

Yeah, I guess from a performance perspective as much as from the film making perspective there were a lot of influences funneled into The Guest. Those great John Carpenter and Kurt Russell collaborations really stood out from my childhood and were just wildly fun. And I think that was one of the things that really excited me when I met Adam and Simon was that they wanted to get across that kind of wild sense of cinematic fun.
