Signs with Clippers
Jordan signs a four-year, $87 million deal with Los Angeles Clippers, backing out on verbal agreement with the Dallas Mavericks.
Apologizes
Jordan apologizes to Cuban and the Mavericks
I want to publicly apologize to one of the best owners in the world @MCuban, the @DallasMavs and their fans.

Apparently rejects apology
Cuban apparently isn’t accepting DeAndre Jordan’s apology for reneging on a deal to sign with Dallas in free agency, writing on his Cyber Dust messaging app:
When’s an apology not an apology? When you didn’t write it yourself. Next.
Staying with the Clippers
Jordan addresses the media on his free agency and why he stayed with the Clippers:
Originally with Dallas, I thought I wanted change. I wanted a bigger role and more responsibility, and I was ready to embrace and accept that challenge. But (when) I got by myself and I was able to think about everything that just happened, I realized that being with the Clippers was the best decision for me.
