Dr. Oz interview

Seacrest interviews Dr. Oz during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about Transformation Nation Contest.

It’s a 7 step program, that includes telling your friends, making sure you know what your body mass index is, and if you are overweight to lose some of that weight, making sure you sleep better, deal with stress better, and talk to your doctor more effectively. America will vote and someone is walking home with a million dollars and everyone else is healthier for having tried!

Dr. Oz interview

Interview

Seacrest interviews Dr. OZ during On Air With Ryan Seacrest and questions him about advise for those who catch the flu.

It’s not affecting as many people, but the people it affects are getting a lot sicker, especially young people. It’s related to the Spanish influenza, which happened in 1918 and killed 20 million people around the globe. It was a bad strain, so a lot of young people are ending up in the hospital with this year’s version of the flu which is a-typical it lingers and it makes you feel real poorly.

The Dr. Oz Show interview

Interview

Aniston reveals her struggle with chronic insomnia and letting herself go for her role in Cake.

I have a hard time sleeping. Sleep is a tough one for me. My brain, the committee in my head, if I wake up at three in the morning I just start having conversations and they won’t shut up and then I can’t get back to sleep. I do have three animals and a human being in the bed, so there are all these distractions.

Study refutes show claims

A study published in The British Medical Journal claims that less than a third of Dr. Oz’s advice can be backed by scientific evidence.

Consumers should be skeptical about any recommendations provided on television medical talk shows. Viewers need to realize that the recommendations may not be supported by higher evidence or presented with enough balanced information to adequately inform decision making.

‘We will not be silenced’

Writes Article

Oz hits back at his critics and vows to continue exploring alternative routes to healing.

I have spent my entire career searching for ways to lessen the suffering of my patients. The best and safest paths have generally been the traditions of conventional medicine. They are tried and true, well funded, and fast. But there are other routes to healing that offer wisdom as well, so I have been willing to explore alternative routes to healing and share any wisdom that can be gathered.

My exploration of alternative medicine has never been intended to take the place of conventional medicine, but rather as additive. Critics often imply that any exploration of alternative methods means abandoning conventional approaches. It does not. In fact, many institutions like mine use the names “complementary” or “integrative” medicine, which is also appropriate.

I know I have irritated some potential allies, No matter our disagreements, freedom of speech is the most fundamental right we have as Americans… We will not be silenced. We’re not going anywhere.
