3 a.m.

The artist releases his single, 3 a.m., from the album, Relapse.

In that song I relapse in a rehab facility or something like it. I just black out and f–king kill everybody. I was trying to create a triple entendre with the [album] title: relapsing literally, going back to the old days – just blacking the f–k out and killing everyone. I wanted to paint a picture for the listener, to make them feel like they are in the story and part of it as each line progresses.

Beautiful

The artist releases his single, Beautiful, from the album, Relapse.

One of the only reasons that I put that track on there is that I feel like it’s the best song out of that batch that I did when I wasn’t sober. At the time I felt like, ‘This is it for me.’ I wrote the first verse and a half in rehab, and when I came out, I finished it. It was the only song that marks that period without bringing me back to that place. Every other track not only didn’t fit with the album, but when I listened to it, it would bring up bad memories.

Airplanes part II

Williams and Eminem collaborate on the track together for B.O.B’s Airplanes part II. Williams:

I was given the track a while ago while we were on tour. The guys and I all loved it. They told me I was crazy if I passed it up. I liked the part too much anyways, so of course I was down. I only found out about Eminem getting on the track like a month ago. As if the song couldn’t get any better. He just slays me, he’s such a genius.

Space Bound

The artist releases his single, Space Bound,  from the album, Recovery. Producer and songwriter Jim Jonsin produced the track. Jonsin about the artist:

He was open to ideas. He was real respectful to my craft. He let me do what I do. He asked me ideas on some of the lyrics. We had ideas for lyric changes. Certain words may or may not work on radio. We talked about that. He had a setup outside of the room to do production, but I’d rather be in the room where he was at, and he was cool with that. And I knocked out a couple of joints in there while he was in there with me. He was pretty open and he let me do my thing. He did his thing. It was a pretty good experience.
