They both had pretty explosive personalities. There were incidences of domestic violence on both sides. They had plenty of verbal fights, which did escalate to physical confrontations. He loved her very much, and she cared for him. At the end, she was by his side and his last words to her were that he loved her. They had a nearly 18-year age difference, but he had a childlike quality.
