Idina Menzel is an American actress and singer born in 1971 in Queens, New York. Menzel is well known for Broadway roles in productions such as Rent, Wicked, andIf/Then. She has also appeared on television shows such as Glee, Sesame Street, Kevin Hill, Private Practice, and Great Performances. Menzel was a voice actor in the animated features Enchanted and Frozen. Mentzel has also released the albums Still I Can’t Be Still, Here, I Stand, and Live: Barefoot at the Symphony. Her most popular singles include Minuet, Gorgeous, and Brave. She was formerly married to actor Taye Diggs and has one child.
