J. Cole interview
Seacrest interviews Cole during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about his single Crooked Smile.
I was going through this period on a tour bus where I would just write the name of a song and the song wouldn’t exist yet. It was just the idea and concept for a song, and one day I just thought of the title, Crooked Smile, and instantly knew that’s huge because I’ve had this smile forever we call it snaggletooth where I’m from.

Cole gives the game a “Tupac – Me Against The World” rating, while O’Brien gives it a “Kay Kyser – Jingle, Jangle, Jingle” rating.
We’ve established that Cole is very good at this game, I, a little less so. My game may improve if we play together. I’d say I have your back but I’m not good at turning around.

Party video
Knowles releases Party ft J Cole music video from album 4. The single is produced and written by Knowles, Kanye West, and J Cole. When questioned on his verse in the song and what it was like to work with Knowles J Cole says:
It’s just a blessing to even be able to work with [Beyoncé]. When you follow in André’s 3000′s shoes, you’re expected to really go in. Just the fact to even be on the song with her and shot the video with her and just be in her presence. She’s such a hard working, incredible artist. I’ll never forget that day we shot the video, I’ll never forget being able to be on that song, and hopefully we got more as time goes on. Shout out to Beyoncé.
