Clowney, Houston Texan’s rookie linebacker, leaves game against Washington Redskins with knee injury. Clowney leaves the field for the locker room at the end of the first half and does not take the field for the rest of the game. Texan’s head coach Bill O’Brien:
I don’t know what happened on the field. I’m not sure what happened on that one. We’re consulting with doctors and trainers right now. I’m not sure about the status, but I will say right now that they think it’s a good prognosis so it looks like he’s going to be ok. He may miss some time, he may not. Who knows. We’ll know better as the week goes on.
