Comment just ‘hyperbole’
Eisenberg clarifies that his “genocide” comment was nothing more than hyperbole.
I of course was using hyperbole to describe the sensory overload I experienced. I sometimes do employ that. I’m a normal person who has normal sensory experiences, so Comic-Con was very overwhelming for me. That said, it was really an honor to be on that end of such jubilation.
The Talks interview
Eisenberg gives an interview to The Talks. He discusses the best method to save the world, and what he has protested.
I used to protest war in general as a concept, specific wars, future wars, past wars, and I never felt comfortable with it so all my political activity is relegated to writing humor about political stuff. My first play was a kind of satire on young liberals. That is the way I express myself politically because I always felt uncomfortable carrying a sign because you have to hold your hand up all day and the wood can splinter… So I really don’t like protests.
Jesse Eisenberg interview
Eisenberg guests on Conan to promote his film Now You See Me. He also talks about his experience being flashed in Mardi Gras, brags about acting alongside Sir Michael Caine and shares his co-star, Woody Harrelson’s, hypnotism skills.
Yes, except the difference was he thought he was like doing really well. I think he might have doing well, but it was the kind of thing, he plays a hypnotist and trying to hypnotize everybody on the set. We’re trying to be polite because he is famous and a great actor. I don’t know how effective it was or how polite we were.
