Chelsea lead the game in the first ten minutes through Diego Costa who scores in the first minute followed by Branslav Ivanovich in the third. Kevin Mirallas retrieves one for Everton in the 45th minute. In the second half Chelsea get an own goal from Seamus Coleman in the 67th minute. Two minutes later Stephen Naismith registers one for Everton. Nemanja Matic hits another for Chelsea in the 74th and  two minutes later new signing Samuel Eto’o makes it three for his side.
