Juventus sign
Morata joins the Italian Champions from Real Madrid for £20 million. The Spanish international plays in the position of striker and his squad number is 21. He signs a five-year contract but the deal includes the option of Real Madrid reacquiring his players rights at the end of 2015-2016 or 2016-2017 campaigns at predetermined values up to a maximum of €30 million. These values will depend on the number of matches played by Morata in the relevant season. He earns €2.2 million Euros a year as salary.

Juventus make a winning start to the defence of the Serie A title. An own goal by keeper Francesco Bardi in the 6th minute keeps them in the lead to the end of the game.
