Green cards for startups
According to Forbes magazine, The Obama Administration is considering an Executive Order that will allow entrepreneurs from around the world to enter the United States to raise capital from a qualified and US resident investors. A two year visa will be granted to for those who can raise about $200,000 in capital. Those who can raise $750,000 will get a green card (permanent residence). A third option grants a nine-month green card if the entrepreneur is accepted by a certified incubator. This visa allows investors to raise the $200,000 or $750,000 US dollars needed for the other two visas.
