Hall interviews Simmons on The Arsenio Hall Show. They talk about Simmons involvement creating a Harriet Tubman prank comedy tape that outraged his fans and the frustration felt by his artists they deemed as degrading.

I’ve done lots of comedy and lots of bad taste. Lots of music and bad taste…lots of poetry that’s offended people. Lots of music that people really felt hurt by but I’ve always stood by it. But this particular piece, when I understood how hurt people were, I pulled it down immediately. I’ve never pulled down a piece of content.

Divorce settlement

Kimora Lee Simmons is awarded $20,000/month until the age of 19 for each of the two children she had with Russell Simmons. She also wins sole legal and physical custody of the girls with monitored visitation for Simmons. Simmons also agrees to provide a new car, worth at least $60,000, for the children’s use, until they turn 16. The car will be replaced every three years.

Both sides reached this settlement amicably, and are looking forward to moving on with their lives.
