Klum, Seal split
Klum and Seal split after almost seven years of marriage.
While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate. We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition.

Lou Sulola Samuel is born
Seal and Klum welcome their daughter, Lou Samuel, into the world at 7:46 pm in Los Angeles.
It’s difficult to imagine loving another child as much as you love your existing children. Anyone who has a family will tell you this. Where will one find that extra love? If you love your existing children with all of your heart, how then can one possibly find more heart with which to love another?
Expecting fourth child

Klum and Seal marry after one year of dating. The ceremony is conducted in front of 40 guests near Seal’s home on Mexico’s Costa Careyes. Klum wears a Vera Wang ivory chantilly lace gown with an empire waist. The cake is topped with a miniature Seal in a tux and Klum in a gown.

Seal proposes to Klum on a vacation in the Rockies.
Seal took me by helicopter. He had an igloo built there and they’d brought up everything: a bed with sheets inside the igloo. There was food and champagne, and then the helicopter left. It was a little scary, too, because you’re so cut off from the world. No trees, nothing – it was hardcore. But I was ecstatic.
