White gives his thoughts on his new video game, Shaun White Snowboarding:
It’s funny to say, but really this game feels like your really snowboarding. In the end, we wanted people that have never been on snow, or never ridden in the backcountry to get a feel for how much fun it is. Also, since you can get online and ride with your friends, it feels like the real deal.
Seacrest interviews White during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about the Shaun White Supply Co. Skateboard.
They’re great. These are basically boards that I built from the ground up to just be a little bit better than that others that are out there in a way that you can actually go and buy the skateboard that I’m competing on at the X Games.
Seacrest interviews White during On Air With Ryan Seacret and asks him for snowboarding tips.
To be honest, just go up there and have fun. Take it slow and try to pick a soft day, when it’s been sunny or it’s new snow and it’s forgiving.
White talks about the difference between skateboarding and snowboarding:
Oh, man, that was the best! The hardest thing about skateboarding is consistency: The slightest flick of your foot or gust of wind can send your board flying, so it’s really anybody’s game out there. I wanted that gold real bad. It was almost more of a celebration than winning the Olympics.
