Drug reduces memory problems

Researchers at the University of Southampton might find a way to reduce the memory problems associated with Alzheimer’s disease. The discovery has translated into a drug that has been effective with mice. The drug, still highly experimental, works by blocking the neurological receptor CSF1R, which regulates the immune cells known as microglia.
