Re-signs with WWE; ends MMA career
Lesnar announces on SportsCenter that he has re-signed with the WWE and that he has retired from the MMA.
I’m officially closing the door on MMA. It was a very hard decision at this stage of my career. The fighter inside me wants to compete. The father and husband — I’m an older caveman now. I make wiser caveman decisions. So, I’m here to say my legacy in the Octagon is over.
It was a hard decision to make. It took me a year. I’ve thought about this for a year. At the end of the day, it’s all about me wanting to have fun. The last two-and-a-half months I’ve been training to get back into the Octagon. I felt physically great, but something lacked mentally — and that’s not good.
Wins website name legal battle
WWE wins court battle over the domain name, WWE.org which was claimed to be initials for Western Women Entrepreneurs. The owner of the domain attempted to sell the site name to the trademark holder (WWE) shortly after obtaining the name, launching the legal battle.
Lead plaintiff filing ends
Eligibility to file as lead plaintiffs in WWE class action lawsuit ends. The suit filed against the company over security violations stems from promises made to shareholders before the company’s television renewal deal with NBC Universal. Attorney Robbins Arroyo comments.
Statements made downplayed the fact that advertisers pay less to reach WWE viewers than traditional sports or other shows on the USA Network and the negative impact on the television license negotiations resulting from the Company’s launch of its WWE Network.

Class-action lawsuit filed
Levi & Korsinsky law firm launches class-action lawsuit on WWE over securities fraud stemming from the company’s latest NBC Universal television deal. The complaint alleges that throughout the Class Period defendants violated securities laws by failing to disclose the Company’s true ability to command a premium fee in upcoming negotiations to renew its television license agreement.
Home invasion arrests
Phoenix, Arizona, police arrest three male suspects believed to have attempted the burglary at Bryan’s home. Alexander Olvera, Edwards Alexander Johnson, and Gilberto Gil Gastelum are all taken into custody.
