Cries over Bruce’s transition
In a new clip from a two-part special of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kris Jenner is in tears after learning of the news from Bruce. Jenner:
He’s the most amazing person I know. I couldn’t ask for a better dad. He taught me how to ride a bike and be the tomboy that I am…He would drive us to school and he would be the first one in line to pick us up.
Kim explains:
He has to deal with this for his entire life of waking up and feeling like ‘whoa, this isn’t my body. This doesn’t feel comfortable.
Jenners divorce
Kris Jenner files for divorce from Bruce Jenner in Los Angeles Superior Court citing irreconcilable differences. Kris asks for joint physical and legal custody of daughter Kylie Jenner, her jewelry, and assets acquired since the separation. Source.
They both did it together. It’s all done and [there’s] no drama or messiness. They worked out all details over the last few months.
Jenner, Kamihira date
Jenner begins dating his ex-wife’s Kris’ best friend and former assistant, Kamihira. Family source:
Kris is devastated, this was her former assistant and best friend of 20 years. She’s so sad and completely heartbroken.
The Talk interview
Jenner chats about the aging process and her divorce from Bruce:
It’s not an easy thing I think that you chose to do things…..like I went through a divorce a long time ago with Robert Kardashian and it was not fun. It was so scary and I was so young and I had four kids and then we ended up being best friends. You can chose to do things in a real grown up way and be friends through something and make it so that everyone around you is comfortable and happy.

Mom confirms transition to woman
Jenner’s mother, Esther Jenner, says that Jenner is undergoing transition to become a woman in an interview with RadarOnline.
I just learned about [his transition]. Bruce filled me in, and we had a very long, long, long talk about it. I have never been more proud of Bruce for who he is, himself as a father, as an Olympian, a wonderful public speaker. He instills enthusiasm in people. He’s gifted.
Fatal car crash
Jenner’s Cadillac Escalade rear ends a Lexus on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, causing it to veer into oncoming traffic where it is hit by a Hummer. The driver of the Lexus dies at the scene. Witness:
Bruce seemed physically okay after the accident, but he acted extremely concerned about the other people involved. There was one fatality and several other people were injured. Bruce walked around the accident scene without obvious injuries, but his car was damaged.

My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident. Does not want ex involved

It’s his decisions on everything and it’s his show. He won’t let her make any decisions or have any say.
Bus video: Jenner rear-ended cars
Detectives for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are using video recovered from a mass transit bus driving in the opposite direction as Jenner as a part of their crash investigation. Law enforcement source:
(Investigators) do have a videotape from a bus.
Unidentified sources tell TMZ the video clearly shows Jenner’s Cadillac Escalade rear-ending Howe’s white Lexus and sending it into the path of an oncoming Hummer, without Howe ever touching the Prius lined up in front of her. Jenner then plows into the Prius before coming to a stop. Law enforcement source says it is a “leading possibility” that Jenner hit both cars in front of him.
‘We fully support him’
Jenner’s sister Mettler says she fully supports Jenner’s transition from male to female.
Oh my god yes, Bruce and I talk all the time. We are all very close. Bruce often comes to visit me here, we are best friends. We fully support him.
Comes out as transgender
Jenner comes out as an transgender in an interview with Swayer.
For all intents and purposes, I am a woman. My heart and my soul and all I do in life, that is part of me…People look at me differently. They see you as this macho male, but my heart and my soul and everything that I do in life — it is part of me. That female side is part of me.
Jenner also says he is a Republican:
I’ve always been more on the conservative side.
And a Christian:
I would sit in church and always wonder, ‘In God’s eyes, how does he see me?’ Maybe this is my cause in life. This is why God put me on this earth…to deal with this issue.

Kris Jenner comes out in support of her ex-husband after he announces his transition from male to female.

Praises Jenner
Lovato praises Jenner’s transgender revelation by dedicating the song Warrior to him at a concert in New Zealand.
He was honest and he was open with his story. And whether you agree with it or not, he probably saved so many lives and educated so many people.
Wrongful death suit
Jenner is sued by the stepchildren of Howe, who claim Jenner was ‘careless and negligent’ when he rear-ended her car, causing it to crash into another car, leading to her death in February. A source close to the investigation claims Jenner only had insurance coverage up to $250,000 at the time of the accident.
Vanity Fair cover
Jenner comes out as Caitlyn on the cover of Vanity Fair., appearing in a corset in a photo by Liebowitz.
If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life. You never dealt with yourself,’ and I don’t want that to happen.
In the article she describes doing public appearances after winning the gold medal:

The magazine releases a video of Jenner’s photo shoot:
I was probably at the games because I was running away from a lot of things. I’m very very proud of the accomplishment. I don’t want to diminish that. The last few days in doing this shoot is about my life, and who I am as a person. It’s not about the fanfare. It’s not about people cheering in the stadium. It’s not about going down he street and everybody giving me an ‘Attaboy Bruce’ pat on the back. This is about your life. Bruce always had to tell a lie. He was always living that lie. Every day he always had a secret, from morning ’til night. Caitlyn doesn’t have any secrets. As soon as the Vanity Fair cover comes out, I’m free.

E! Online releases a trailer for I am Cait, an eight-part, one-hour documentary series which will illustrate the star living her life as a transgender woman. The show airs Sunday, July 26.
When you start learning the kind of pressure women are under, all the time, until their appearance all the time. I never got it until a ouple of weeks ago. A professional came in and did my makeup. What a difference!
