Hamilton is honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame under the category of Motion Pictures. Fellow actor and long-time friend, James Caan helped present the award:

This is something that in my opinion is long, long overdue…He’s a wonderful actor. He can sing, dance, wear funny pants. He’s just an amazing entertainer.
