While the secretary mentions no specifics, a senior State Department official traveling with Kerry tells reporters the help will include security, communications and intelligence aid. The US is not yet directly involved.
We don’t see this as just being a security problem. There are broader issues here that . . . relate to how the government works with people in these communities.
