The movie was a waste of time. Injustice to Aaliyah and her accomplishments. The movie shouldn’t have been made if her family and friends didn’t consent. Just horrible.

Mariane

I’ve not seen it but the actors portraying Aaliyah and Damon Dash look quite like them.

Marta

Lifetime disrespected Aaliyah and her family on so many levels

Pascal

None of this makes any sense. Timbaland and the family wanted a feature film rather than a made-for-tv movie made about her.

Jennifer

I was a big Aaliyah fan when she first appeared on the scene in the mid 90’s, I also liked a lot of her work with Missy and Timbaland on her second album. However, I do think that she wasn’t the legend that people are making her out to be. If she hadn’t died so young, she would probably have faded into obscurity, or had to find other ways to stay relevant. I don’t mean this to be disrespectful, but I honestly don’t think that she deserved the title of a legend.

Chantel

I absolutely loved Aaliyah. Still listen to her music. I’m half afraid to watch this film now.
