Fourcade wins the Olympic gold medal in the Men’s Biathlon: Individual event. His final time of 49:31.7 minutes is 12.2 seconds faster than silver medalist Erik Lesser of Germany.

It was a tough race. I knew I could still win despite that mistake. It was a tight victory.
