He has starred in such films as Interview with the Vampire, Seven, Inglourious Basterds, and Moneyball, among many others. He co-founded the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, a charitable organization that aids various global humanitarian causes.

Pitt stars in this Neil Jordan-directed film based on the Anne Rice novel. He plays Louis de Pointe du Lac, a 200-year old vampire who sits down with a journalist and tells him about his transformation and exploits as a vampire. Co-stars include Tom Cruise, Christian Slater, and Kirsten Dunst. On shooting in New Orleans:

The great thing that came out of that movie is that it birthed my love affair with New Orleans. We were shooting nights. So I just rode my bike around all night. I made some great friends there.

Baby BradWilliam Bradley Pitt is born in Shawnee, Oklahoma to a devout Baptist household. His father William Alvin Pitt manages a trucking company, and his mother Jane Etta (née Hillhouse) works as a school counselor. The eldest of three children, he has a brother named Doug and a sister named Julie. Soon after his birth, his family moves to different towns in Missouri and settles in Springfield, where he attends Kickapoo High School.

My father came from a very poor background, but I was very fortunate in the sense that we were never in need. He wanted to give us more opportunity than he had, a better shot at a better life. He did that for us. I had a very supportive family environment that gave me room to explore and discover things about myself.
