Angelina Jolie is a film actress, screenwriter, and director. Born in 1975 in Los Angeles, California, she received critical recognition for her portrayal of Cornelia Wallace in TNT’s George Wallace and supermodel Gia Carangi in the HBO film, Gia. She has appeared in numerous blockbuster films such as Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Wanted, Salt, and Maleficent. An active humanitarian, she is noted for her work with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. She is engaged to Brad Pitt, with whom she shares six children.
