Billy Porter

Billy Porter is an American Broadway performer, singer, and television actor born in 1969 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Porter was a graduate from the Musical Theatre Program at Pittsburgh Creative and Performing Arts School.  In 2013, he won a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical for the role of Lola in Kinky Boots.  Porter also won a Drama Desk Award and Outer Critics Circle Award for the role.  He has released the albums Billy Porter, At the Corner of Broadway + Soul, Kinky Boots Cast Recording, and Billy’s Back on Broadway.
