Casey Kasem
Casey Kasem was an American disc jockey and radio personality born in 1932 in Detroit, Michigan. Kasem was mostly known for being the host of American Top 40 from 1970 to 2009. Other shows he hosted include Casey’s Top 40, Casey’s Hot 20 and Casey’s Countdown. He was also the voice of Shaggy Rogers from the cartoon Scooby-Doo as well as the voice of Robin from Super Friends. In 1981, he earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The National Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame inducted Kasem into the Hall of Fame in 1985. In 2014, Kasem passed away. He was married to Jean Thompson and had four children.
