Darlene Love
Darlene Love is an American singer and actress born in 1938 in Hawthorne, California. Love first rose to fame with the song He’s a Rebel in 1962. Her other notable singles include Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah, He’s sure the Boy I Love, Why Do Lovers Break Each Others Heart, A Fine, Fine Boy and Wait ‘Til My Bobby Gets Home. She also appeared in the films Change of Habit, The Love of God, 20 Feet from Stardom and the Lethal Weapon movie series. In 2010, she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Love is married to Alton Allison.
