The Big Wedding

Sarandon plays Bebe, Don’s girlfriend and Ellie’s former best friend, in this comedy directed by Justin Zackham. Don and Ellie, long divorced, have three children, one of whom was adopted from Colombia. After he is engaged, he informs Don and Ellie that his birth mother doesn’t know and wouldn’t approve of their divorce. They agree to pretend to still be married to appease her when she comes for the wedding. Co-starring Diane Keaton, Robert De Niro, Katherine Heigl, Amanda Seyfried, Topher Grace and Robin Williams.

My daughter Eva got married a few months after we finished filming. Thank God it wasn’t anything like the film! If anything, this movie teaches you what not to do at a wedding.
