David Chalmers

David Chalmers is an Australian philosopher and scientist born in 1966 in Sydney, Australia. Chalmers is the Professor of Philosophy as well as the Director of the Centre for the Consciousness at the Australian National University. He was chosen to be a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences. He wrote the books The Conscious Mind: In Search of a Fundamental Theory, Toward a Science of Consciousness III, Philosophy of Mind: Classical and Contemporary Readings, The Character of Consciousness and Constructing The World.
