Deborah Allen
Deborah Allen is an American singer and songwriter born in 1953 in Memphis, Tennessee. Allen has released 12 albums in her career. She became well known for the 1983 single, Baby I Lied which made it to 4th on the country charts and 26th on the Hot 100. Her songwriting credits include writing songs for Janie Frickes, Patty Loveless, The Whites, Tonya Tucker and John Conlee. She has been nominated for two Grammy Awards, a Horizon Award and an Academy of Country Music Award.
