Jawed Karim

Jawed Karim is a German internet businessman born in 1979 in Merseburg, East Germany. Karim is one of the founders of YouTube and he also helped design Paypal’s real-time anti-fraud components. He moved to the United States in 1999 and eventually graduated from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He created a venture fund known as Younivesity Ventures in 2008. The purpose of the fund is to help people create and fund their business. In 2014, Karim’s net worth was listed as $140 million.
