Will Smith is an American actor, rapper, and producer born in 1968 in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Smith first received recognition as rap artist under the moniker of The Fresh Prince. During his musical career, he won four Grammy Awards as a solo artist and as part of the group DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince. He starred in the NBC sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air from 1990 to 1996. Smith started his film career in the mid 1990’s and appeared in movies such as Bad Boys, Independence Day, Men in Black, Enemy of the State, Wild Wild West, The Pursuit of Happiness, The Legend of Bagger Vance, Hitch, and I Am Legend. Smith became the first actor to have 11 straight movies gross over $150 million worldwide. He is ranked by Forbes Magazine as Hollywood’s most bankable star across the world. He is married to actress Jada Pinkett Smith and they are the parents actor Jaden Smith and actress Willow Smith. He has another child from a previous marriage.
