McCarty is a guest on Talk is Jericho to discuss his career, the NHL and fighting on the ice.

People had come up to me and you know how it is. Near the end of my career, ready to retire people were saying, “You should write a book.” I was just kind of like, “Yeah, whatever!” I sort of blew it off. My good buddy passed away and I read his book and was jsut blown away with his unabashed honesty so that moment it hit me. I said, “If I do this… I gotta give my truth and be 100% honest.”
