Traitor

This American spy thriller film is written and directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff and produced by Steve Martin.  Cheadle plays Samir Horn, a former U.S. Special Operations officer who is pursued by FBI agent Roy Clayton, played by Guy Pearce.

Well, at the time this script came across my desk, there were in the news a lot of ideas and stories about security and Guantamano and the Patriot Act and what rights you would give up in order to be secured, and terrorism and radical laws. It was interesting to me because the character that I play in the movie, Samir Horn, seemed to be someone who encapsulated all these questions within his own journey through this film.
