Dr. Oz

Mehmet Cengiz Oz is born in Cleveland, Ohio. His father, Mustafa Oz, is a a cardiothoracic surgeon and his mother, Suna, is a physician director of a pharmaceutical company. Oz’s family is from Konya Province, Turkey. Oz goes to school at Tower Hill School in Wilmington, Delaware. He has two sisters, Seval Oz and Nazlim Oz.

[My parents] taught me to view the world with an open mind, which would eventually shape my work as a doctor.
