The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents Murphy with the Mark Twain Prize, which honors those who influence society in the tradition of Samuel Clemens. Murphy calls the prize a “tremendous honor.”
Actually, it’s an award, but they call it a prize. Usually when there’s a prize, there’s money.
