The Nutty Professor

Murphy plays Professor Sherman Klump in The Nutty Professor. After Sherman meets a student named Denise, he falls in love and tries to lose weight to win her heart. He decides to make a fat-reducing formula in order to feel youthful again. However, it backfires and makes him turn into Buddy Love, a fast-talking Don Juan. Co-starring Jada Pinkett Smith, Dave Chappelle, and Larry Miller.

When people came up and talked about the movie they always talked about the dinner scene. That was my favorite stuff in the first movie too, and I wondered what it would be like to take it a step further. When they asked me if I was up for another film, I said: Sure! We just had to find a story.
