Genevieve

Dickey’s book Genevieve follows a husband and wife who have great careers and a nice home in Los Angeles. When Genevieve learns that her grandmother died, she must travel back to Alabama, something that she dreads. She hopes that her husband does not learn of the secrets she left back there. It varies and depends on the novel.  Some are shorter, like Genevieve, and others are more complicated and require travel and being out of my comfort zone for a season or two, like A Wanted Woman and the Gideon series.
