Gervais guests on Late Night with Seth Meyers to talk about the differences between awards show in the UK and the US. He also jokingly explains why he is upset with Louis C.K., whom he calls a “big, sweaty slob”.

I discovered that big, sweaty slob. I’ve done everything for him, haven’t I? I was even in his show. I just see his freckly ass and everything, and he’s never thanked me. And now, he’s trying to take my award. This is dreadful.

I Will Be There performance

Odessa performs I Will Be There during The Queen Latifah Show. When asked about her over night success Odessa replies:

I honestly don’t even know what to say. This is not something that you even dream of because it doesn’t seem possible. I recorded some tracks in my house. I came to Los Angeles while touring with a friend and happened to play some songs in her friend’s office, and someone involved in music licensing walked by. She heard it, asked if she could pitch it for licensing. The next thing I know, I’m being asked if I want to be in a Subaru commercial. I don’t own a TV, but saw it in my manager’s office right before it aired, and I had a feeling this was going to have some kind of impact on people.

The country duo performs at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports awards show. The group sings a medley of their hits which includes ; This Is How We Roll, Cruise, Dirt, and Get Your Shine On. The Duo says:

We are so pumped to be a part of this fun night! Both of us grew up playing sports and to be a part of celebrating kids’ favorite players is awesome! I played baseball up through college and my coaches, teammates and pro- players were some of the most influential role models in my life. To be able to applaud these athletes and perform for all those sports fans out there is amazing.
